PAPEETE, le 8 juillet 2018 - La troupe a souhaité rendre hommage à Wilson Mahuta, membre incontournable au Heiva i Tahiti, décédé en janvier dernier. Et pour célébrer l’œuvre de ce grand homme, "Fare Ihi nō Huahine" a choisi de mettre en avant le pahu (tambour), son instrument de prédilection.
Inscrit dans la catégorie "Hura Ava Tau", la troupe de "Fare Ihi nō Huahine" a démarré la quatrième soirée de concours pour le Heiva i Tahiti, samedi.
La troupe a décidé de rendre hommage à Wilson Mahuta, ancien membre du jury au Heiva i Tahiti 2017, décédé en début d'année.
L'élément phare dans leur spectacle a été le pahu (tambour), instrument de prédilection de ce grand homme de la culture polynésienne.
